Transfer Students
We’re glad you’re here! We count transfer students as an asset to our programs. You come to us from community colleges or other universities, from Illinois or from other states. In any case, you bring a set a set of experiences that enriches your own education and your fellow students’ as well.
Several of our majors are eligible for the Capstone Option. If you already hold an Associate of Applied Science degree, or equivalent certification, the Capstone Option is your best direct route to a bachelor’s degree. Majors currently eligible for the Capstone Option on campus are: agribusiness economics, agricultural systems and education, animal science, crop, soil and environmental management, forestry, and horiculture.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions can help with questions about transferring credits and completing your application. If you are a graduate student transferring graduate credit, contact the Graduate School.
