Academic Advisement
The advisement system at the College of Agricultural Sciences is a unique and student-oriented system. The system has proven effective in enhancing student retention and fostering positive faculty-student relationships throughout a student's educational experience.
Admitted students should contact the College of Agricultural Sciences Student Services Office at 618-453-3080, or stop by the Agriculture Building Room 117, to schedule an Advisement Appointment with Kim Doellman, Kathy Elson, Karra Herron, or Patricia Burns (see list below for each advisor’s specialty areas). Your Academic Advisor will discuss your educational goals and help you select classes towards your major of interest. Our goal is to keep students on the right track to obtaining a degree in a timely manner!

From summer internship options, to research opportunities and career advice, many students find this faculty-student relationship invaluable.
