Your SIU education is all you. But we’re behind you every step of the way. From helping you chart your academic course to finding which agricultural-related career is best for you, to helping you pay for your education, to helping you fill your time with meaningful out-of-classroom experiences, the College of Agricultural Sciences will put your future in your reach.
We can help you maximize your financial aid options and learn about scholarships for which you may be eligible. As an "Ag" student, you’ll work with a College of Agricultural Sciences academic advisor to take the guesswork out of your college curriculum. We’ll help you make sense of pre-requisite courses, and major, minor, and Core Curriculum requirements and how to fulfill them. And Career Services can help you increase your academic yield by advising you on hot career prospects, and help with resume and interview preparation.
Are you a transfer student? We’ll help you bring every possible eligible credit hour with you, and we’ll help you settle in as an SIU student.
Careers in the agricultural sciences aren’t typically 9 to 5, leave-it-in-the-office jobs. Our students incorporate their studies into their lifestyles. That’s why we have more than two-dozen Registered Student Organizations affiliated with the College.
