The Agronomy Center is part of the University Farms system located approximately two miles southwest of the main campus. Used extensively for both research and teaching, the Agronomy Center includes approximately seventy acres for small and large plot crop research. Most of the courses offered in the college use this farm to enhance curriculum.
Ongoing research activities encompass a wide array of disciplines, including agronomy, plant breeding and genetics; plant pathology and nematology; weed science; soil fertility and microbiology; and surface hydrology.
