  • The SIU Sustainable Farm is offering a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) this year. CSAs offer local people a chance to buy into a farm and enjoy local produce without doing the work. Basically, the farm will sell “shares,” and the dividend is produce. The SIU Sustainable Farm is 6 acres devoted to vegetables and fruits that also provides hands-on experience for students interested in organic farming, small farm management and marketing local foods.
