Stephanie left the family farm to pursue a career with horses. She received her Master of Animal Science specializing in Equine Reproduction from SIU in 2000. Prior to attending SIU, she was professionally employed in various aspects of the horse industry. Special interests include horse psychology, form to function of the horse, horse breeding, horse judging, and anything that has to do with horses! She is a Certified Horsemanship Association Instructor, a certified equine massage therapist, and faculty advisor to the Equestrian Show Team. Course taught include ANS 112, 212, 309, 312, 412, and 419. Stephanie also serves as the Equine Science Coordinating Counselor.
