Agricultural Communications

A specialization in Agricultural Communications focuses on marketing, communications and public relations within the agriculture industry.

What will I study?

Courses include a healthy mix of core agriculture classes such as an introduction to agriculture, animal science, crop science and horticulture coupled with communication courses such as writing for the mass media, radio and audio production, television news reporting, graphic communications and journalism law.

Other classes such as the economics of food, fiber, and natural resources, an introduction to philosophy and general plant biology provide students with a solid foundation and additional background.
