Herbicide-Resistant Weeds Affecting Soybean Fields

Ever get annoyed by candles that re-light after you have blown them out? Dr. Bryan Young feels the same way about weeds that come back after they have been sprayed with herbicide.  Young states, “In many fields, our primary herbicides are no longer working to control herbicide-resistant weed species.  We’ve been a Roundup Ready Soybean world for the last 14 years.  We haven’t had to add other herbicides, but now we need them.” The trick to winning the weed war is not easy.  It depends on what is being used, at what rate, and when.  To learn more about this topic, follow the link below to the full story.
