Forestry Student Volunteers Efforts To "Make A Difference"

Jim Muhlhausen, a Forestry major, volunteers his time with the Saluki Volunteer Corps. For the past two years, Muhlhausen spends his spare time at Giant City Park working on projects. Applying knowledge learned in the classroom to real world situations enhances the educational process. Muhlhausen has found the experiences invaluable, and feels he has "made a difference" in Southern Illinois.
